G-Shock GLS-5600 Reflex Dial Series

The Reflex Dial Series from G-Shock comprises three 5600 watches outfitted with a speckled “opal” dial. This new application offers a novel appearance that can be seen across white, purple and black gloss bodies. Available August 2010 in Japan.

G-Shock x Starstyling Watch Collection

A while back we gave you a behind the scenes look at the creation process of the G-Shock x Starstyling watches. Today we can finally give you a detailed look at the results. While most of theG-Shock collaborations to date consisted of logo placements on the backlight and prints on the straps, the Berlin based label took a different approach and created 20 custom pieces, each looking very different and very creative. Many of them come with matching accessories and t-shirts and are now available at the Starstyling flagship store in Berlin and a few other select retailers.

Raised by Wolves x Furni Watches Summer 201

Canadian labels Furni and Raised by Wolves re-issue their digital watch collaboration in new colors for summer. The PVC watch features an Indiglo style backlight with phone book, stopwatch, timer multiple alarms, and “dual time” functions. The Big L lyric “this ain’t the time to have your wrists freezin” is engraved on the watch back. Now available in grey, yellow or green here.

Baby G x b Store by Peter Jensen, Natascha Stolle, Sophie Hulme, Complex Geometrics

After already working with G-Shock last season, b Store once again got together with the brand to work this time on the Baby G line. They invited designers Peter Jensen, Natascha Stolle, Sophie Hulme and Complex Geometrics to create designs on the classic Baby G watch. The watches will be launched exclusively at Selfridges and are complemented with matching t-shirts.

G-Shock Hyper Color Man Box

G-Shock returns for March 2010 with their G-Shock Man Box set. This time they present GA-110F in a multicolor version with a matching G-Shock Man toy. Look out for a release at G-Shock retailers in the coming weeks.

glamb x G-Shock “Paintman” Watches


Japanese label glamb is the latest participant to join G-Shock’s “Shock The World” movement. The brand reworked the DW-5600 in black, and the DW-6900 in pink and white, each of which has been splashed with hits of paint. Limited to 50 pieces per color.

The upcoming G-Shock x LRG DW-6900 was first presented at a recent event in New York that we reported about. Here follows now a more detailed look at the watch. It comes in bright yellow and features “Research” written over the strap. The dial comes in white/green, the two signature colors of the brand. Look out for a release soon.

G-Shock August 2009 Releases



Today we present you this month’s G-Shock limited edition releases. Earlier we already gave you a look at the Pegleg x Union x G-Shock DW-6900, which sold in the matter of hours on the release day. The emphasis this month stays on the big size DW-6900.
G-Shock presents a collaboration with The Brooklyn Circus. The watch comes in a black/white colorway with red accents and logo placement on the dial, and is nicely wrapped up in special packaging.
Furthermore G-Shock presents the DW-6900 Crazy Color series. The series consists of three strong colorways of the watch, each featuring matching display and backlight colors. Look out for these watches in stores now.

Union x Pegleg NYC for G-Shock



As part of their Shock The World campaign, Casio invited NYC staples Union and Pegleg to design their own G-Shock style. Using a palette consisting of strictly red, white and blue, the duo translated America’s star spangled banner onto the G-Shock DW-6900 canvas. Marking Union NYC’s last collaboration, this patriotic timepiece is certainly the most eye-catching G-Shock interpretation we’ve seen this year. Only 100 pieces were produced and will be released this Thursday, July 23rd, exclusively through Union NYC and online at PEGLEGNYC.com.

The classic G-Shock DW-6900 comes this month with the new Multiband technology in two new colorways. The white is a little more subtle and comes with both black and purple accents. The alternative colorway is yellow, which is a good one for the hot months of the year. Both are now available at e-casio.

Nabiis | 24HERBS | phunk x CASIO G-SHOCK “SHOCK THE WORLD” Artist Series Watches

CASIO G-SHOCK recently kicked things off for their six month “SHOCK THE WORLD” campaign. Starting in London on June 11th, the tour now focuses on Hong Kong under the guidance of popular local brand SUBCREW as well as Hip-Hop group 24HERBS and “Father of G-SHOCK”, Kiuo Ibe. In honor of the South East Asia leg, “SHOCK THE WORLD” has partnered with various popular local figures including Taiwanese fixed gear crew Nabiis, 24HERBS and Singaporean design studio :phunk. Each one created limited one-off designs of classic G-SHOCK models such as the DW-6900 and DW-5600. As an added bonus, a special online magazine has been launched and can be seen here as it features the daily exploits of SUBCREW, :phunk, nabiis and the G-SHOCK Tokyo Headquarters crew.
