The latest Air Jordan multi-shoe pack will release late this month month under the theme of “Toro Bravo”. Featuring two versions of the Air Jordan V, the shoe is inspired by a special and heralded species of bull which is bred for the Running of the Bulls event in Pamplona, Spain. The black version is inspired by “both the Toro Bravo, known for its aggressiveness, strength, vigor and intelligence, and Michael Jordan’s basketball career, which exemplified these qualities and more.” On the other hand the red version “represents the passion, inspired by MJ’s drive for the game and taking its color from the red bandannas runners in Pamplona wear.” A special custom-box set featuring the menacing eyes of a red-eye’d pull peering through a crate keeps in line with the shoe’s concept at hand. The Toro Bravo pack is set for a May 30th release.Kix and the City and MaZe break down some of the highlight May 2009 releases from Jordan Brand and adidas. American contemporary menswear designer Adam Kimmel links up with artist (and also part-time Kimmel lookbook model) Kon Trubkovich to take his license plate art to a new t-shirt medium. Featuring the pessimistically-toned “I DO OK” license plate, the t-shirt comes in black, white and navy and represents Kimmel’s first foray into t-shirt partnerships. Nike Sportswear drops some suede-love with this latest version of the Blazer Mid Premium. The UNLV-esque colorway combines a mostly gray suede upper with a red Swoosh and laces. Bits of the shoe are also wrapped in black including the heel and the bumper surrounding the front of the shoe. Available now at Choko.
After their popular Skytop model, Supra has announced on their website that they will be revealing the Skytop II in July at the upcoming Agenda show. Not much is currently known but stay tuned for more information!

” ‘Supernova,’ it’s a co-write,” Hudson explained, sitting in the Beverly Hills Hotel a few days ago. “I think our head space, we kinda overlapped with similar emotions about things when we were hanging out last summer. I think we both could relate to the lyrics, so we built it together. Kanye brought in the chorus. We brought the verses up together.”
Kanye and Hudson were shooting the video for their song, which is the first single from the singer’s U.S. debut.

Nike SB has released their latest Blazer Hi and Classic SB. We like the recent Blazers from the Nike SB collection, mostly because they use nice materials, solid colors and sport overall classic looks. This one comes in a red suede/black colorway and clean white sole. The Classic SB is also looking very refreshing, coming with an all white upper with blue and pink accents. Both sneakers are now available at CCS.
The Terry Kennedy signature shoe from Supra, entitled “Society”, is releasing very soon. TK passed by the Supra offices to stock up some supply of his new signature shoe. More news on the release of the sneaker very soon.
According to iTunes, Em will release two additional songs prior to his May 19th release of Relapse. Look out for “Old Time’s Sake” ft. Dr. Dre on May 5th and “Beautiful” on May 12th.
