Leave it to the Japanese to come up with one of the most interesting iPhone cases thus far. Cut from two separate sheets of aircraft grade duralumin, the Quattro iPhone case features a lens mount that allows for interchangeable external lenses such as fisheye, wide angle and macro. To top things off the backing is made up of calf leather. Now available from Factron for a price of 19,600 yen (approximately $200 USD) plus more for each lens. A little pricey, but looks like a lot of fun!
From the Lacoste Stealth Spring/Summer 2010 Collection comes the Rainbow Pack. We spotted the sneakers this week in Barcelona at the Outerspace tradeshow, which debuted this season. Lacoste presents two styles in different fading rainbow color options. The white low tops feature the rainbow pattern on the mid-sole and a reflective croc pattern on the white upper.
The new Junya Watanabe Comme des Garcons Fall/Winter 2009 Collection is entirely inspired by hunting and fishing, thus not an entirely new theme in clothing overall. Yet we have to say that we like the solid pieces of the line a lot and one of our favorite knitwear pieces is this hunting cardigan. It comes with a wool diamond pattern in classic colors and feature suede patches on the elbows and the shoulder, keeping it true to its original use. The cardigan is now available at colette.
A first look at the Dunk Hi Premium SB Miss Piggy quickstrike release. The sneaker comes in a black/pink/yellow colorway and has been released already at Aloha Army.
After showing you the Nizza Hi Zip the other day, we give you a look today at the Nizza Lo Zip. It comes in white canvas and also features just like its high top counterpart, the three stripes in the form of multicolor zippers. The sneaker is now available from Flauge.
Stussy gets together with Shark on their Classic digital watch. Overall they present a series of three watches, featuring both the Stussy and the Shark logo on the uppers. Look out for a release soon at Stussy Stores.
Nike Sportswear recently released a great new commerical featuring an innovative t-shirt gun. Mixing humour and CGI, St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson witnesses Nike snowboarders Matt Ladley and Travor Jacob testing it out first hand. And they’re actually selling it. Promising to be better than any gun you’ll find in a stadium or arena, each T-Shirt Gun is numbered and engraved with the signature of a Nike athlete. Priced at $1500 and now available (but already sold out!) at Nike.
Nike 6.0 hooked up their new Braata model with custom artwork by the artist Stinkween. “Done up in an electric green, purple, yellow, and black with glow in the dark laces and a clear sole laid over custom artwork by Stinkween, the Stinkween Braata will hit in super limited quantities right in time of the US Open of Surfing. As part of the adidas Fall 2009 Collection comes the Nizza Hi Zip. The sneaker features a black canvas upper with a couple of brown accents on the logo tags and piping. The three stripes come in the form of zippers in different neon colors. The sneaker will be released in July at Atmos.

We bring you another preview from the Reebok Spring/Summer 2010 Collection, spotted at Bread & Butter Berlin last week. The Purple Pack consists of the Pump Omni Lite, Court Victory Pump and the Insta Pump Fury. Reebok mainly used purple and some pink as accent colors on the footwear. We like a lot the combination of those colors with grey and white on the base. Also unlike many other Reebok releases, this does not go too far, but features just the right amount of color. Look out for a release in Spring/Summer 2010.
A nice and solid new Gucci High Top Sneaker has been released. The sneaker features a premium brown suede upper, matching brown leather laces and overall subtle branding. If it was up to us, we would even have skipped the G pattern on the lining, but that is just minor. All in all the sneaker looks good and makes sense for the brand, more than some of their other recent footwear releases. The high top is now available from Concepts.
