THE FIRST LADY JOINS OPRAH ON THE COVER OF O MAGAZINE
Mrs. Obama gave Oprah a tour of the new White House digs and spoke about how she feels privileged to be calling it home. She also spoke on the rules she laid down for daughters Sasha and Malia: (“I want the kids to be treated like children, not little princesses”). Here’s a couple snippets:
Oprah: So after the inauguration, what was your first weekend in the White House like?
Michelle Obama: Well, we still had family here, so it was almost like a wedding. A huge, very complicated wedding. The last visitors didn’t leave until Sunday. And then the first Monday was kind of weird. You know: Now we live here, and Barack is getting up and going to work, and it’s just us. This is our home now.

KiD CuDi Speaks on Transformers Trailer
“Micheal Bay, what’s poppin’? Holla at me.”
Cudi’s biggest achievement so far may be thanks to some good old-fashioned guerilla marketing. Cudi released a video last week that blended the audio from his song “Sky Might Fall” with the trailer from “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.” Cudi said the idea for the trailer — which has been featured on many blogs and had some wondering about its authenticity — came to him while he was checking out the movie’s sneak peek online with his iTunes playing in the background.
“I’m looking at the trailer, and I was like, ‘Wow, this is dope,’ but then ‘Sky Might Fall’ — on random — starts playing while I’m watching the trailer. And you know how you just get that eureka of your life, where you are like, ‘Aha’?”
