THE FIRST LADY JOINS OPRAH ON THE COVER OF O MAGAZINE
The new issue of Oprah Winfrey’s magazine was released this week. First Lady Michelle Obama joins the media mogul on the cover of O and yep, this is the first time Oprah shared the cover with someone. Mrs. Obama gave Oprah a tour of the new White House digs and spoke about how she feels privileged to be calling it home. She also spoke on the rules she laid down for daughters Sasha and Malia: (“I want the kids to be treated like children, not little princesses”). Here’s a couple snippets:
Oprah: So after the inauguration, what was your first weekend in the White House like?
Michelle Obama: Well, we still had family here, so it was almost like a wedding. A huge, very complicated wedding. The last visitors didn’t leave until Sunday. And then the first Monday was kind of weird. You know: Now we live here, and Barack is getting up and going to work, and it’s just us. This is our home now.

Jedi Mind Tricks (JMT) is a hip hop group with two members from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and one from Camden, New Jersey. The group was founded by two high school friends rapper Vinnie Paz (Vincenzo Luvineri) and producer / DJ Stoupe the Enemy of Mankind (Kevin Baldwin). In 1999 the New Jersey rapper Jus Allah (James Bostick) joined the group to record the 2nd studio album by JMT, Violent by Design but left shortly after for reasons that remain unexplained. The track "The Rebuilding" (2006) marked his unofficial return to JMT since the split, but made a full fledged return aside Vinnie Paz for the 6th studio album, A History of Violence (2008).
DJ Kwestion is also a part of the group, mainly scratching choruses on the turntable. Kwestion (or Kwes) is also a part of the group Skratch Makaniks. Kwestion was a replacement for JMT's previous tour DJ, Drew Dollars, who is no longer affiliated with the group.[citation needed]

Deluxe x Russell Moccasin
As part of their Spring/Summer 2009 Collection, Deluxe got together with Russell Moccasin to work on a classic boat shoe. The silhouette stays classic, but the colors of the most part not. The boat shoe comes in black leather, red suede and a forest camouflage colorway. All three feature white soles, leather laces and a contrasting white stitching on the upper.The Deluxe x Russell Moccasin shoes will be released on 7th of March along with more new products out of the Deluxe Spring/Summer 2009 Collection, that you can check out after the jump.

Cudi released a video last week that blended the audio from his song “Sky Might Fall” with the trailer from “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.” Cudi said the idea for the trailer — which has been featured on many blogs and had some wondering about its authenticity — came to him while he was checking out the movie’s sneak peek online with his iTunes playing in the background.
“I’m looking at the trailer, and I was like, ‘Wow, this is dope,’ but then ‘Sky Might Fall’ — on random — starts playing while I’m watching the trailer. And you know how you just get that eureka of your life, where you are like, ‘Aha’?”

Nike SB Custom Series Volume 3
Inspired by images of 80’s-era skate videos featuring skate sessions on cars, Jon Humphries conceptualized the scene for Nike SB’s Custom Series Volume 3. The roster of skaters for the series were each given free reign on the colorway design of their own sneaker which included Daryl Angel (Dunk Low Premium SB), Clark Hassler (Blazer Low Hybrid Premium), Justin Brock (Dunk Mid Premium SB) and Grant Taylor (Blazer SB Elite). Each skater will also see a t-shirt release alongside the shoes with releases starting in March with Angel and Hassler and ending in April with Brock and Taylor.Supreme x Vans 2009 Spring Collection
