Nike SB Dunk High “Quagmire”
Originally surfacing last year amongst the load of SB samples, this latest Dunk High interpretation from Nike SB features inspiration from Family Guy’s resident pervert Glenn Quagmire. The uppers take obvious hints from his favorite button-down shirt alongside blue canvas representing his pants and various other accented colors throughout. Now available at DQM as well as other select SB retailers.Apple iPod Shuffle
Likened to the member of the family nobody really cares about, like Macaulay Caulkin in Home Alone, Apple has quietly released a new version of their flash-based iPod Shuffle. The screen-less player is no frills, no gimmicks and just straight up shuffle. However this generation’s update has been officially deemed the current smallest music player on the market. However with no screen, Apple implement a new VoiceOver function which allows the player to tell you what song, artist and album are currently playing. Control is done via a headphone switch with an accessory also to release to allow 3rd party headphones. The 4GB verison will hold approximately 1,000 songs and have a suggested retail price of $79 USD.

T.I.: “‘Beef’ Is Kinda Like ‘Swag’, People Just Throwin’ That Word Around Too Loosely”
via MTVNews:
On Monday night in the Bronx, after he finished speaking to kids at a Boys & Girls Club, T.I. finally broke his silence about why he decided to end the feud.
The whole beef between him and Shawty — which started with the pair trading verbal jabs but quickly escalated into a brawl between the rappers’ cliques at the Dirty Awards late last year — wasn’t even legit … it was the product of the overzealous media and some self-righteous bloggers. Which is why he had no problem putting it behind him.
“That word ‘beef’ is used too loosely, to me. ‘Beef’ is kind of like ’swag.’ People just throwin’ that word around,” T.I. said. “To me, man, if I don’t mean you no harm, we can’t be beefin’. If I see you, and I don’t attack you, it ain’t no beef, and vice versa. Everything else is just entertainment to me.”
The Thrift Shop Experience Ep. 1 (88-Keys)
Your Thrift Shop Experience is, very simply, your story. The metaphor here is that, in a thrift store, each item has a past; when you purchase that item, whether it’s a book, shirt, table, toy or coat, you’re buying into it’s history. When we communicate with each other, we share our experiences, and with this series, I wanted to find out what really got people open. Producer, emcee, writer and Polo-fiend 88-Keys is my first guest. He’s produced joints for Mos Def and J-Live, among others, and his latest album, “Death of Adam,” was executive-produced by Kanye West. Stay tuned for the raps inside and let me know what you think!

NEW MUSIC: KERI HILSON, KEYSHIA COLE & TRINA

Check out the latest from Keri Hilson’s debut, In A Perfect World…, which hits stores March 24th. The newest of the material is the track “Get Your Money Up,” which features California native Keyshia Cole and Miami rapstress, Trina on a Polow Da Don-produced track.
Originally, Teyana Taylor had laid down vocals for the track in LA, but was replaced with Trina, I’m assuming for a more mature sound. Currently, Keri is still promoting her single, “Turnin’ Me On,” featuring Lil’ Wayne, but rumors have circulated that she will released “Slow Dance” as her next single, considering that a couple of DJ’s were serviced promo CD’s of the track.

Terrell Owens Signs With Buffalo
The AFC East was the most hotly contested division in football last season. Any one of three teams – the Patriots, Jets and Dolphins – had a chance to win the division on the final weekend. The only team which didn’t got better Saturday, at least on paper. The Bills, who have gone 7-9 each of the last three years and haven’t made the playoffs since 1999, signed wide receiver Terrell Owens three days after the Cowboys released him. He makes Buffalo relevant and injects some excitement into a franchise that has used seven starting quarterbacks the last nine years.
The Bills have been too conservative on offense and need another weapon to compete in that division. With T.O. and Lee Evans, Trent Edwards now has two receivers who can stretch the field.
Despite his constant craving for attention, playing in a small market like Buffalo might be the best thing for Owens. He can be the biggest attraction on a team filled mostly with non-descript players. And playing on the East coast will get him national attention, especially when the Bills play the Jets and Patriots. He’s probably also looking forward to playing the Dolphins because of Bill Parcells.
