N.W.A. “Straight Outta Compton” Film Announced

Without a doubt N.W.A, made up of Eazy E, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, MC Ren and DJ Yella, has had a huge impact on rap and on the music market in general. Today it was announced that Andrea Berloff will be writing the script to the movie “N.W.A. – Straight Outta Compton”, telling the rise and fall of the group. We cannot wait to see it and will of course keep you posted on the subject.

Pharrell speaks to Nino Scalia, co-writer of Street Dreams, about making the song “Hoppin’ Over Fences” for the movie’s soundtrack after Rob Dyrdek (of Rob & Big) approached him for it. He also goes into the similarities of Hip Hop and skateboarding and how both have inspired and influenced him over the years.
