SUPER Randagio Sunglasses

Italian eyewear brand SUPER is starting to roll out special sunglasses in between seasons, showcasing special materials and craftsmanship in these limited edition releases. First up is the Randagio, which you see here above. The brand describes the sunglasses as “…a puma acetate skeleton hand covered in top notch leather with refined gold details that complete the elegant and strong design.”

The sunglasses will be released through a select set of retailers, as well as the SUPER online store on August 5th. Limited to 230 pieces, these will go for 223 Euros.

SUPER Leather Wrapped Flattop Sunglasses

First introduced last season in a limited edition, Italian eyewear brand Super starts to roll out more leather wrapped sunglasses for Fall 2010.

“SUPER wraps their flat tops in leather for Autumn 2010. The ZEISS lens based Italo made frames are now available with a secondary treatment which full engulfs the sunglasses. With three leather shades to choose from, you have options. I’m sure some will buy all three to ensure maximum compatibility.”

Stussy x Hectic “Mad Hectic” Sunglasses

Stussy has worked with Japanese brand Mad Hectic on a series of sunglasses. The sunglasses come in overall 4 colorways, featuring solid frames and plaid colored frames. The sunglasses will be released on October 17th.

The Hundreds Eyeware | The Phoenix

After lots of previews, we can finally show you some clean product shots of the first model in The Hundreds new Eyeware Collection. The LA brand starts off their new sunglass collection with The Phoenix, a very classic looking pair of sunglasses. The sunglasses feature both The Hundreds logos on the inside and outside and they come in a series of colorways. They will be available at The Hundreds LA and SF flagship stores this coming Thursday.

Phenomenon Beads Sunglasses

New from Phenomenon this season are these new Beads Sunglasses. Beads seem to be a trend, just recently we have seen them featured prominently on the Lanvin High Top Sneakers. The Japanese brand covered the arms of the sunglasses in different color beads. The sunglasses come in black and white and are now available here.

Super RSF Bread & Butter Berlin Edition

Italian eyewear maker Super debuted a new frame for the recent Bread & Butter Berlin tradeshow. The RSF’s key design elements are a straight upper lip, and open bottom. Standard Italian construction and crystal clear lenses by Zeiss make for top notch quality. This brown tortoise shade was specially made for Bread & Butter Berlin. Only 180 pieces were made and have been individually numbered. Now available from Caliroots.

Dita Select Optical Summer 2009 Collection

Three new Dita Select Optical frames have arrived for Summer 2009. The Verve, The Lever, and The Rambler each come in a variety of color-ups ranging from Dark Tortoise and Black on Black Swirl, to the more adventurous Black to Clear Fade, as well as a solid Bone White style. Each frame is handcrafted in Japan from Zyl Acetate with custom Hex Rivets. Although these styles were designed as optical frames, sunglass tinting is available on request, making each a worthy alternative to the standard Wayfarer-esque style they were inspired by. PAM x Super “High Summer” Sunglasses

Finally we get a good look at the PAM x Super Sunglasses, that are part of the PAM Spring/Summer 2009 Collection. Only 100 pairs of each style have been produced. Now the bad news - Super reports that while being delivered the sunglasses have actually been stolen. Somebody actually broke into the DHL van and took the sunglasses. Hopefully they will turn up soon again!
