For the Vans project, Erin’s design journey began by taking favorite images from vintage issues of INTERVIEW magazine and combining them with her own hand-painted artwork in collage form. Inspired by the late 80’s and early 90’s music, nightlife, art and fashion in NYC, Erin captures the essence of that time and blends it into two of Vans’ latest girls’ styles, the Camryn and the Wellesley.”
