Public School Launches Online Store

Public School, has launched their new website. The new site features an online store, as well as a blog. Especially the online store is good news, because as much as we like the brand, it was always hard to get a hold of the collections, which should change now.

Bape Launches US Website

Bape has today officially launched a dedicated website for the US. At us.bape.com you find a news section, Spring/Summer 2009 Collection presentation and the online store will also be launching soon. This is just another step in the worldwide expansion of the brand.
It will be interesting to watch how the brand balances exclusivity and expansion. Its a difficult subject and there is no easy solution. So far, if you are a fan of the brand or not, they managed this balance pretty well, still selling out most of their stock. In the US people still had to make the trip to the stores in NYC and LA, that is over once the online store launches.
While on that subject, check out a recent article in the LA Times on this exact subject. They spoke to The Hundreds about growing, while maintaining the connection to their customer. Check it out here.
